Truenat™ MTB-RIF Dx is a chip-based Real-Time PCR test developed to detect Rifampicin (RIF) resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) strains. It is used in patients diagnosed with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and assists in the diagnosis of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Truenat™ MTB-RIF Dx detects key mutations (SNPs) that lead to Rifampicin resistance, enabling the identification of resistant strains.
