SSO-based HLA Typing

SSO (Sequence-Specific Oligonucleotide) based HLA typing is a molecular method used to determine HLA genes. In the SSO method, sequence-specific oligonucleotide probes are used to target regions of the HLA genes. The basic steps of this method include DNA isolation, amplification of the target DNA, hybridization with SSO probes, and detection, leading to the final results.
